Oh yeah…it rocked….and I loved how he worked the Origin Story into modern day topics. Can’t wait to see Roddy as War Machine in the next movie.
Here is the plan for Marvel Movies for the next couple of years….
2008
Ironman (with Nick Fury cameo after the credits)
Hulk (a rumored Tony Stark and Nick Fury cameo)
2010
Ironman 2 in April
Thor in May
2011
The First Avenger - Captain America in May
The Avengers in July
As far as I know Robert D. is slated to continue playing Tony Stark in Ironman 2 and in The Avengers….with possible cameo appearances in the rest working up to The Avengers.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the Avengers movie. And Iron Man was possibly the best super-hero movie I’ve seen (orders of magnitude better than Spider-man (which was good, too)).
Finally got to see it last night. It absolutely rocked. Used to be Marvel couldn’t make a superhero movie that didn’t stink. Now they seem to be getting better and better. Robert D. was the best Tony Stark they could have picked.
The Dark Knight trailer looked wicked too. Can’t wait!
Now it helps that Marvel has their own production company….So they have total control over the projects, not like some of the rest where they really had very little control.
The Hulk looks to be way better than the previous ones……
Though I wonder how they will work Jarvis into the Avengers. As he was actually a real butler for Tony Stark, now he is an AI for Stark….will they work the AI into the Avengers movie?
I hope they keep Jarvis as the robot - he was quite humorous in his own right in the Iron Man film. (almost reminds me of Number 5 from the Short Circuit films)
