While I agree that all art is derived from other people - clearly from the videos, the examples shown were EXACT copies - with no credit attributed back to the person who originally drew the pieces. There is no way Ruchika could have drawn those characters based on the “sketches” she demo’d. What transpired on the video constitutes theft, plain and simple.

Please understand ALL art is derived from someone else. I don’t know re Ruchika but we should not for a moment pick up western nonsense about copying art and copyright. Art has always been freely available and must continue to be so. I get disgusted to see perfectly excellent copies derided because they are not original! They are so close to the original that only a set of experts can tell. In this case, the copy is as good as the original as far as artistic merit goes. Re business transaction, ie the price as opposed to the value, the owner and buyer may do what they please.

We need to prosecute such individuals to send out a lesson that content theft will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
