We took this a few weeks back when we were at Disney World. Sonia hates hats of all types, this one included.

You may have noticed that the comments section on this website has a small square where your avatar can appear. I was scratching my head earlier this morning, trying to figure out how to get my own avatar to appear. Thanks to the magic of Twitter, I learned that what I needed was a Gravatar (Global avatar).
How do you get one?
Go to Gravatar and sign-up. It’s fast, it’s free, and your gravatar will automagically appear the next time you post.
Best of all, no plug-in required!

The website redesign for Uncubed was long overdue. The site now runs on ComicPress 2.5, bumped up from the venerable ComicPress 2.0. I’m pleased to report that the upgrade went very smoothly. The redesign from old to new took 5 hours.
When I launched UN3 last August, I made the decision to dip my toes into the ComicPress / WordPress waters. I am very glad I did. The WP/CP combo makes managing and updating content a piece of cake. It freed me from the constraints of having to learn PHP / MySQL and, instead, allowed me to focus on making comics.
I’m very excited about the new look for UNcubed. Hope you dig it, too. Let me know your thoughts on the update!

Excuse the dust as I remodel UNcubed with a fresh coat of paint, and some much needed consistency.

Growing up in the US in the mid-70′s / 80′s, it was tough for an Indian kid like me to find someone to look up to. I straddled the divide between Indian and American. Thankfully, there are many more role models for Indian Americans to look up to now…

In Indian society, whenever you go against the grain, parents pull out the societal pressure card. It would seem that in some cases, they’re more concerned about how THEY will be perceived as parents then how their kids feel…
Maybe you can relate?
