Sonia’s cuteness trumps my scolding any day of the week.

Yep and there’s not a darned thing you can do about it. Vincent (our youngest) just looks at me when I scold him. Waits until I stop talking and then smiles and laughs as he toddles away. Sometimes I feel it is hopeless.

Stick with it. I promise you some of it does sink in. Kids are much more aware than we give them credit for. She was clearly tryiong to distract you. Just like Jason’s kid is aware that a strategically launched smile will disarm most parents. These are good time, just be prepared to say the same things over and over again. Just like our parents did.

Awesome. I’m going to use the ducky defense next time I get into a spot of trouble. The boss wants to talk to me about down productivity- it’s the ducky defense! The significant other wants to know why I didn’t come home last night- ducky to the rescue! I fall into a river and the raging current sweeps me to sea- well the ducky might not be as helpful there. Sonia must be growing by leaps and bounds. Seems she’s drawn differently every few weeks. Wow.

Honestly, I’m not laughing AT you, I’m laughing WITH you.
