Eulogy for a Friend
I want the world to know that we lost a tremendous artistic talent and a genuine great person named Angel Yates last week. I attended her funeral on Saturday. I offered my own remembrance of her at her memorial service, but I was so choked with sadness that it was difficult for me to put into words what I felt.
She had such big plans. She wanted to make a book to collect her Wicked Alchemy web comics. She and I had even talked about sharing a table at next year’s MegaCON…
Inqy was a true talent and I am blessed for having had a chance to be her instructor.
Rest in peace, Angel.

I think you just let her know in the best way possible by sharing your thoughts with the world. May your message reach and touch the world, help her close ones, and remind everyone that the experience of life is the most precious thing in the universe. Celebrate life in her honor. RIP

The last panel makes me want to cry. But I’m sure Angel must have known how proud of her you were, even if you never actually said it that way. My condolences.

Krishna, I happened to have watched your Ustream video the other day when you were working on this piece. I was touched by your words to your friend Angel. For what it’s worth, your testimonial to her is honorable and heartfelt.

I agree with all of the prior posts … I wish I had something more eloquent to say … I’m so terrible with words …

I haven’t met either of you, but I can feel the sorrow. May her soul rest in peace. Her spirit will remain through her web comics to eternity.

I truly feel you have done a wonderful tribute to your friend and student..!! What better way than to convey your feelings through what you both loved …”WEB COMICS”..

This is a great tribute – I’m sure she knew how you felt.
So sorry. Words are inadequate at times like this…
