Remedies for Car Sickness?

March 19th, 2010 | by krishna

It seems that we cannot drive in our car for more than 15 minutes before Sonia throws up. (Car sickness runs in Aarti’s side of the family.) I’ve looked for solutions to ease the nausea online, but so far, I haven’t found much help.

I’m now planning to keep a bucket and clean-up items in the car for future incidents. There has to be a better way…

(On the plus side, Sonia’s been toilet trained for the past several months.) :)

The Mumbai Experience: Part 10

The assumption that is made when I approach another Indian in India is that I speak the native tongue. As perplexing as it sounds, I do not. There was a slight embellishment added to today’s comic (for effect), but the crux of what happened is intact.

I had a wonderful time at Megacon (my full report has already been recorded) It was a pleasure to meet new and old readers alike. While PC Weenies received much of the spotlight at the show, I hope that new readers like what they see here.

The Mumbai Experience: Part 9

I typically try to avoid conversations while I’m on long flights… (and the Budapest incident did, in fact, take place).

Just a reminder…

I’ll be having a table at Megacon in Orlando, Florida this Saturday and Sunday. I’ll have copies of “Rebootus Maximus”, and both Sampler editions available for sale, along with free sketches!

( Plug: The Sampler books contain the very first printings of UNcubed – these comics haven’t been printed anywhere else. )

This is my first “BIG” show – last August, Aarti and I attended Mini-Megacon, which was scaled down version of the main show (both in terms of vendors and audience). The main Megacon show brings a ton of people – so it should be a great time.

If you’re planning to attend, stop by my table (I’ll be in Artist Alley, with a huge PC Weenies vertical banner behind me) – you can’t miss it! :)

Don’t forget to check out today’s PC Weenies while you’re at it!

The Mumbai Experience: Part 8

Airports are fascinating ecosystems in which to study people. I didn’t really find myself engrossed with technology during the trip, even though I had my laptop and iPod. The experience was liberating. (Also, I didn’t want to pay those exorbitant wireless rates.)

Possibly the most bizarre video you’ll see all day. Warning: You’ll be humming this tune all day.
