I’m not really a fan of Bollywood movies, for the reasons cited in today’s comic, but I have learned to tolerate Aarti’s fascination with watching them. -Krishna
Wow…. are you my long-lost twin brother or something??? 😛 We seem to share so many likes and dislikes.
I hate Bollywood crap equally. My mother loves it.
I like only select Tamil movies and English ones.
When I was in Abu Dhabi for a few months there wasn’t much to watch on TV. So I would flip through the channels to find something to have in the background that wouldn’t distract me while I was doing some work on the computer. I would turn on MTV and think ok that can’t be too bad.
Then all of a sudden there was this extremely loud screeching of a woman who sounded as though she were inhaling helium before each verse of the song.
Now I’m pretty sure that women from India don’t have voices so unnaturally high pitched so why do they insist on having the woman sing like that? It was actually painful for me to hear.
