Yep I know all about that. Our almost 1 year old woke up today at 5am. So after the wife got him dressed (while I got myself dressed for work about an hour earlier than normal) I told her to lay down for a bit longer and that he and I would have breakfast together.
Not too bad actually we got to spend some quality time together and momma got a little extra sleep. Not always easy with two kids but we manage it.
Tonight I got both boys alone while the wife is giving classes. Normally I get the little one off to bed first (as he takes more time to get settled in) and then I get the big boy ready and put him down. If I’m lucky I can get them both to bed before 8pm Then I can settle down with my laptop until the wife comes home
Welcome to the curse of all Children….The curse most all parents give them. That is to have Children that act just like you did to them…..I see the curse is still alive and working…..chuckles (and yes, of course my wife and I cursed our 2 grown children as well..tradition must continue).
BTW, I do like Sonia’s choice in books though…chuckles. I remember Rom well.
