My sister is an artist, she likes to paint. She has two lovely kids, they are 4 and 2 years old. She has all her paintings hanging on her house walls. Some time ago she found my nephew painting on her walls with crayons, when she started to tell him what he was doing. The kid looked at her, with a “but mommy” look while pointing at her paintings.
Life with kids seems to follow the law of conservation of energy: Rather than losing any pain, you’re just trading some for a different type… (Hope that was one of those washable markers!)
Like Jesse The Body Ventura in Predator, “I ain’t got time to bleed” True! Loved ones bring out the Best in you. (One way you know they’re true loved ones!)
kids definitely have a way of putting the world into perspective. “Leftover pain from a near death experience? Pish posh! I have a Sharpie!!!!”
Did the RSS feed change? I thought I used to get the entire comic. Now it’s just a snapshot and requires me to click thru to the site.
oops… Never mind – I was looking at the RSS feed for PC Weenies… DUH!
heh, kids can take a lot off your mind, and add a bunch of different problems.
Aww. She’s going to be a Cartoonist just like Daddy!
She was only making your chair more beautiful.
My son has done this countless times. I think we finally got him to stop doing it. I hope.
