I typically try to avoid conversations while I’m on long flights… (and the Budapest incident did, in fact, take place).
Just a reminder…
I’ll be having a table at Megacon in Orlando, Florida this Saturday and Sunday. I’ll have copies of “Rebootus Maximus”, and both Sampler editions available for sale, along with free sketches!
( Plug: The Sampler books contain the very first printings of UNcubed – these comics haven’t been printed anywhere else. )
This is my first “BIG” show – last August, Aarti and I attended Mini-Megacon, which was scaled down version of the main show (both in terms of vendors and audience). The main Megacon show brings a ton of people – so it should be a great time.
If you’re planning to attend, stop by my table (I’ll be in Artist Alley, with a huge PC Weenies vertical banner behind me) – you can’t miss it!
Don’t forget to check out today’s PC Weenies while you’re at it!

So your wife flew trans-Atlantic, while you flew trans-Pacific?
If something like that ever happened to me I’d be latched onto my seat cushion so tightly it would take half the flight crew to pry it out before I got off the plane (glad everyone had a safe trip)!
yes, qka – I flew trans-Pacific – my flight was rerouted to go out via Chicago to Delhi instead of JFK to Brussels to Mumbai. And Robert, I’m right there with ya, man. I’d be freaking out big time too.
I assume this was a twin engine jet, such as a 767. These aircraft are designed to fly on one engine up to three hours.
