(I can laugh because my kids are teens and thankfully potty trained.) I am enjoying all the comments from other parents on this thread, too. I have two comments of my own: When potty training my son, a friend advised me to tear off one square of toilet paper and drop it in the bowl and instruct son to "sink the boat." I was very relieved when my daughter (youngest) was potty trained. No more diapers!! The unforeseen side effect was that I missed the "crinkling" sound as my baby ran around the house. (Strangely, I still do.) I am so chuckling at this… (I can laugh because my kids are teens and thankfully potty trained.)
