You made the right choice on this strip. Words were not needed, each panel alone said all there is to say.
Even though the roles a parent has in their child’s life changes over time, the last panel…That role will never change, no matter how old your child is…..
Totally agree with everyone else. Words weren’t needed. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m also a parent, but the last panel was my favorite…the slight sense of exhaustion in the owl says it all.
Being father of three (boy 18, girl 15, boy 12) I still play this role.
Krishna, you have a real timesaver here. You can publish this toon slightly altered on every birthday of your daughter until she is out of college, married and so on.
My dad is still the unsung hero for me and I am pushing 50.
This is very sweet.
Lovely… Never thought about my dad as an elephant!! Sweet!!
Completely agree with you Krishna. The words weren’t needed in this episode. The glasses on the creatures said it all.
I get it, because I follow your comics, but I think a new reader might not understand the subtle treatment of your likeness
Love this. Words would definitely dilute the strip. <3
Tim, I think the title at the top of the strip makes it clear. "Loving Papa"
Great job saying a lot with very simple strokes. The mouths on the various incarnations of papa are very expressive and endearing.
How come every new one becomes my favorite strip!?!?!
Awesome! Not one balloon!

As a new reader and not an expert on the field..I have to say I loved it..!! I am hooked..!!
Great work – I loved seeing your character morph into these visual depictions of his various roles – awesome!
Very well “said.” I dig this one a lot.
Just great and so true.

Thomas from Berlin, Germany
One of your best strips. Since all of your strips are such high quality, that is saying a lot. Pixar level storytelling for sure.
Beautiful, Krishna – as always!
Achoda!!! Chooo Chweet!

Cheerz!

Perfectly portrayed. Words would have garbled the message. Great job!
